Door seems to tight where it strikes the liking plate

I would suggest that you will need to provide a lot more information to get information back.
Pictures would help which is easy to do using Attach files or dragging an image into the reply box.
I had what I think might be similar issue (but hard to tell) ; I used silicone spray lube on the latch and strike side. I did not need to slam the door after lubricating it.
