Give me a horn, please ...

It took a while, but we finally got into a situation where we had to lay on the horn big time to avoid an accident. Out comes this feeble squeak that might be better suited to a circus clown car. Give me a real horn, please ...

So, I'm looking for recommendations for horns that go in easy and sound like a fully loaded Serenity towing a jeep at 75+ mph.

I went with this one https://www.amazon.com/GAMPRO-Inche...dp/B07QXQ9HW9/ref=psdc_15736091_t2_B000F5DQWY but installation was a bit of work and required a 12 gauge hot wire to be ran from the battery/fuse box as it uses 18 amps. The factory horn fuse is 10 amps I believe so any direct hookup will have to be under 10 amps unless people are simply swapping in a 20 amp fuse, but I don't know if the wire will support that or not. Perhaps since it is a brief load it would be OK but I do not know for sure. I decided if I was going to do it I was going to do it loud and the Gampro is definitely loud, plus I left the original horn connected as well so it's kind of a dual horn setup now although the factory horn contributes very little.
For ease of installation people also go with the Agile Offroad horn kit, easy install although more costly. https://agileoffroad.com/product/agile-horn-kit-sprinter-2007-2018/

I installed the Wolo Bad Boy 419 because it doesn't require any extra relays. You can just cut the OEM horn wires and wire then to the Wolo and you are done! I actually removed the OEM horn from behind the grill and put the Wolo 419 in it's place, but many just install it in the engine compartment somewhere convenient. This Wolo Bad Boy horn looks identical to the Stebel Nautilus. Stebel draws 18A, see spec on Amazon. Factory circuit is protected by 15A fuse. How did you make the decision not to install a 30A relay, both horns come with 30A relays. 15A is close to 18A so it could be within limits.

I don't remember anymore, it was 7 years ago and my first upgrade. I'm guessing because others said they didn't need one. I've not had any issues with my installation, knock on wood, for 7 years. So based on that experience I can say to others you don't need it.

Just upgraded the weak Spanish made squeaker with Fiamm duals. Went OK and sounds real now. Heads up on location. The Dodge badged 2007 3500 that carries the Winnebago View horn location is under the driver's side headlight. Not on the passenger side right behind the grille.
