Question on how the brake pad connection works:
I tried measuring the connectivity of that wire/sensor (also other wheels), and seems like it is ground.
So I am ASSUMING it is #1 (always grounded until brakepad wore off)
I cleaned out the previous glue or something on the tip of the wire to expose the bare wire, make sure it is big enough to have tight fit into the brake pad hole (for connectivity to brake pad interior), then clay epoxy the top to the notch to secure it.
I did turn the KEY to ON few times, and I recently started the Van to move the Van for painting... but the Dash Light still on... (Below Picture is just for showing which dash light I am talking about)
Any help will be appreciated.
- Is it always ground to the Van, when brake pad wears, the wire gets wore off, ground connection cuts off, hence Dash light comes on?
- Is it insulated inside the brake pad, not grounded, once brake pad wears enough, wire expose and grounded, hence Dash light comes on?
- Just Wondering... Does Brake Pad Dash Light resets after each restart engine, or after like 30miles range?
