Sun visor extension

I thought for 2 seconds about making a set but then I found these. They work great but did require 4" of velcro extension (for each strap) to make it around the visor. I carry a roll of 3/4" velcro, it's too useful to not. A pair for $20, tough to beat and the pockets and glasses holder actually work really well.
Thanks, yes those are nicer than the more expensive ones I tried already!
The included straps are NOT stretchy, so they won't loosen over time.

I also added acrylic (not glass) mirrors:

(I put the new visor extenders under the MB strap, sacrificing one pocket. I could've put them over the strap.)

Note there is only one version, so the passenger side must be mounted 'upside-down' if you want the extension to work similarly (not that it makes much difference).
Also, the pics on Amazon suggest it could be mounted on the front or the back of the visor. Note you can't close it all the way to the headliner shelves if you have this installed on the back. Especially if you put your glasses on it. But, without the glasses, it will stay (mostly) closed.

Mirror (I used the 5x7"):

Visor extender (again):

Velcro extensions (1" is an exact match):
This cheaper 5' roll should also work:

I used some leftover double-sided sticky pads for the mirrors, but it looks like 3M VHB 4941 would be a good choice for the vinyl MB visors:

I'm okay with the vertical forward blocking in the VS30, but the visors (when swiveled) aren't long enough to cover the upper rear corner of the door windows.
I got some extensions, but the straps were too small to fit over the visors, and the sliders were kind of fiddly to move in and out.

I have some black ABS and am thinking of cutting it and strapping it so I can slide it, but the edges of the ABS are sharp enough that it'd probably damage the visor or at least the OEM strap on it.
Any other material suggestions?
I don‘t know if you can flame the edges of ABS to smooth them, but you can with Plexiglass

Hello,
I have a 2015 170 RWD Sprinter. When I am driving down the road and the sun is directly coming in the driver window or the passenger window, there is no way to extend the sun visor to block the sun. The last third of the window isn’t blocked. My Subaru and VW have a “rail” that the visor can slide on to completely blocking the sun.
Has any one found a good solution? I called Mercedes and they had no solution to offer.
Thanks in advance!
Tim
Our 2024 Winnebago VITA on a Sprinter chassis also allows the sun to come in the back end of driver and passenger windows. We’re currently traveling east on I-84 in Idaho, 3:40pm. I came up with an original solution. Works great!

I debated whether this was worthy of posting ... but thought I'd share because the gap between the visor and pillar is so annoying.

Stuck some Velcro on an appropriately sized stuff sack and viola. Stick to the head liner. When not in use roll & clip out of the way. Un-clip with one hand to deploy. Remove and use at the trailhead as needed. Cheers!
