Extremely clean 2003 Dodge Sprinter 2500, 140" wheel base, high roof, 5 cylinder diesel.
Deeply cleaned, extensively upgraded, and thoroughly maintained, this van is ready to start you camper conversion.
The factory floor (particle board) was removed and replaced, along with the seats, interior trim, and most of the dash. All areas and surfaces were cleaned and any spots of rust were treated with a rust converter (Black Star). The interior surfaces were then covered with Dynamat (anti-vibration mat) and then Noico (sound deadening closed-cell foam). Most of the dash pieces were replaces with new parts.
A second layer of Noico was installed on the floor, and then engineered wood flooring was put down over that. A custom carpet was added over the stock floor mat in the cab area.
The engine was steam cleaned and then the van was painted. All decals/emblems were removed before painting. We decided not to put new ones on. The headlight and tail light assemblies were all replaced (including the third light above the cargo doors). Also replaced were the marker lights, antenna, wheel flares, mud flaps, rear bumper, rear threshold, windshield, weather stripping around all the doors, window seals on driver and passenger door, and both magnetic catches for cargo doors. The driver side seat belt material was replaced by a company specializing in doing that.
New seats were installed with seat heat (back & seat), high-density foam and spring upgrades, plus pump-up lumbar support in both seats.
A new back-up camera was installed. Power cables have been run from the engine battery to the back of the van.
