That measures CO2?
I don’t think so. Just CO. It would be interesting to measure CO2 levels in a van or a tent. Having a controller that can turn on vent fans at a set concentration would be nice. They have a few for home hvac systems. They are pricey. Once you understand your ventilation requirements a timed ventilation schedule works pretty well until you have a party

Most vehicles with a small amount of ventillation keep CO2 in the safe margin from breathing. Well sealed vans/vehicles will need a small amount of active ventilation, or a cracked window.

4 medium sized people in midsized wells sealed sedan with the AC wired to 100% recirculate can hit CO2 concentrations high enough to cause mild headache in about 45-90 minutes.

If CO2 gets high enough your body alerts you, including waking you from sleep. So its much less dangerous than CO.

For my E350 with a rack on top I had a dryer vent hose, metal in the back so that I could put one over the tail pipe and the other at the rack on top of the van.
Need to find one again for the Sprinter and come up with some thing like that again, vent the exhaust at the top of the van.
And I do have a CO2 meter for inside the van.................

It’s worth monitoring.
Not trolling, serious question: you think monitoring carbon dioxide in a poorly sealed van with ~400 cubic feet of air is important, but monitoring engine performance parameters on a vehicle known to be a Zsa Zsa Gabor level prima donna isn't?

Many of us have seen the intake snorkel accessory on a sprinter. me but to each their own.

Perhaps there’s a new heater exhaust stack product awaiting development…

Put it on when needed, off when not.

Though now that I think of it there are exhaust guidelines for Espar/cdh’s so nm.
🤷🏽‍♂️

Predictable someone will AI a ridiculous rendering.

I think both are. And my home air quality monitor would be backed in the van for the first winter trip. And my SG3 is already there.

What does one due when snowfall like this blocks the exhaust pipe for the diesel heater??? We have a Rixen and this is a concern of mine.
I would recommend to have at least 2 shovels / max tracks. Also depends on van orientation exodus gas can we boxed under the van
