Good question.Hi, How's the price compare to the gasser?
It's not clear yet. I believe MB indicated it would only be available on the cargo van. When I go to the online configurator (which is notoriously unreliable), you can choose the 4 cylinder diesel on a 144 low roof, a 170 high roof, or a 170 extended high roof, but strangely not a 144 high roof. However, tough to deny this isn't in fact a 144 high roof 4 cyl diesel: http://instagr.am/p/CKAVmxppPbb/Hi, How's the price compare to the gasser?
Is the H12 pre-heater/booster available?
I have 4 cylinder vans as well, are you interested in purchasing one?Which dealer is this?
I can configure one for you - email me your build at ajones@mbofbrooklyn.comAnd the online configurator does not show (as of 1/16) the 4 cylinder diesel as an option for any crew 2021.
Price is about $1000 swing from gas to diesel and up to 6 cylinder diesel is another $5000It's not clear yet. I believe MB indicated it would only be available on the cargo van. van_bae,
Do you have a VIN# or FIN # off one of your new 4 Cylinder Diesel Sprinters so I can look up
all the specifications on this new "2.0 liter" inline 4 cylinder diesel.
The OM-651 is 2.143 liters in USA specification Sprinters. 83 mm bore x 99 mm stroke.
There is also another version of the OM-651 that is 1.8 liters (1,796 cc).
OM-651 Compression ratio is 16.2:1.
The O-654 is 2.0 liters (1,950 cc) with a Bore of 82 mm and stroke of 92.3 mm.
The OM-654 has a lower compression ratio @ 15.5:1.
Sounds like the new 2020-2021 Sprinter 2.0 liter turbo diesel is the OM-654.
