NCV3 Rear AC Ductwork removal

Hey guys!

I'm new here, Excuse my french... ;)

Anyone that removed the rear AC unit here who could tell me more about the idea of ONLY removing the back part ductwork? As seen on this image. We need head space, but just in the rear part that seems to be only vent ducts. Is it possible? Fairly easy? Worth it? Thanks a lot!!!

There is 1 screw behind the light and then the cover slides back about 1" and comes off.
It is pretty lousy fit, so flexible fingers are needed.

Huge thanks for your answer and your time. Can you tell if there is something left underneath the cover and if it is also possible to remove it? Thanks again so much.

There is plastic duct under the cover.
I was removing that a year ago doing insulation and if I recall it right, there is long duct going from main unit to the rear, who has 2 separate covers.
Removing the duct would leave only couple of screw holes, but the ceiling has dust marks around.
Than using the bus as day van with passengers in the rear - you need those vents in the rear. YMMV

I had a link so I took it apart to fix it
The big holes are for the lights
Take it apart push and squeeze
I think that I YouTube it
