Adding auxiliary high beams with stock LED headlights

As some of you guys know, adding auxiliary (extra) high beams isn’t possible when your Sprinter is fitted with LED headlights (due to being CANBUS controlled, no separate signal wire to high beam) and without PSM (Specialized module, rare to have, $$$). But there is another way! It’s called the “CanM8 Cannect High beam”.
It’s a small device that connects to a constant 12v power source, ground, CANBUS Hi and CANBUS Lo. Coming from the device is an output of 12v with 1A max for switching on a relay. With this device installed you can have LED Headlights and auxiliary (extra) high beams. The dealer quoted over €600 for the PSM alone. This CanM8 Cannect was around €80. Just wanted to leave this here for the people that have the same problem. Wanting to add auxiliary high beams but don’t know how.

This is my plan B - I’d rather use the PSM module first, but need to find a willing dealer to add another program to it..

You’ll realize the unit itself cost around $700? Excluding tax and firmest. Definitely not worth it if you solely want aux high beams.

Yes - but I already have the PSM module on my vehicle. It’s used to control the PTO and engine speed. Just need to find a dealer who can add another program on for me

Ahaaa, I’ve didn’t know that, sorry. Then working with the PSM is definitely the best option if you have it installed.
