Welding on Van

Hey lads, got to cut out some decent rust patches on the roof of my sprinter. Going to weld in some new panels. Apart from the obvious disconnect the battery is there anything else to think of? Cheers

Protect all glass from flying sparks! They embed themselves into the glass and ruin it in short order. And don't ask how I know!!!

Welding Sprinter roof panels leads to much more rust, next year. Don't do it.. Use a modern structural adhesive, it also helps with sound deadening. Eric
