Full Screen Ads

I've recently begun seeing full screen ads that pop up when a thread is selected. Backing up and selecting again usually results in seeing the thread with the usual small ads at the top and bottom.

Has something changed?

I haven't noticed full page ads on my laptop. I occasionally look in on the forum using my Android cell phone. No full page ads there either, but I haven't downloaded the app.

I only use a laptop: never a full-page ad.

I've been seeing ads lately also, only on my S9, not my Fire TV
