List of US Sprinter Model Types

Just purchased an Autel scanner for my van.... It lists about 20 different model variants for the 907... The Sprinter Wiki shows a list for the earlier models but nothing for the VS30... What would the code be for a 2500 4x4 with V6/7 Speed Transmission? Can we update the wiki?

Thanks!

I contacted the manufacturer of one of the popular models out there. I think it was iCarsoft? They told me their software lags about 2 years. It was not available yet for the 2019 which I have. The first week I had the van I got an SRS light while installing a seat swivel. I wanted to reset the code. I ended up having to have the dealer do it.

Not that you will run into this for every brand but I suggest you email the manufacturer with your device model number and ask. If you find one that is working for the 2019 please post. I would be interested to know of one that works. Thanks!

I am also familiar with iCarsoft. They only support up to the 906. Autel appears to support 2019+ as they have a list of models starting from... 907.131, 907.133, 907.135... through to 907.745, 907.747

I have no clue what my van is, but beyond that I am struggling with software stability on the Autel device.I will let you know how it goes.

Have you downloaded your Data Card? There is an identification number above your VIN on the data card that contains the # I believe you are looking for. Mine starts out as WDA906155________ which I assume is 906.155. The Data Card will tell you all the options your van was built from the factory with as well.

There are multiple sources for the datacard, and they update at different rates.
Try:
https://www.datamb.com/ <-- datacards
https://www.mbdecoder.com/ <-- datacards (more up-to-date?)
http://mbepc.net/f/vin/ <<--- parts and datacards

(the mbdecoder frequently has cards that the others don't)

At the very worst, ask your dealer (or their parts department) to print you one.

mbdecoder worked although it not clear if its a 907.613 or 907.811.

User sailquick emailed mine to me so I am not sure what service he used but maybe they give the ID number that I referenced if that indeed includes the model number you need. Maybe you can reach out to him if he still does that.

I entered my WD0BE745285250306 VIN at www.mb.vin and got an "Identification" number of WD09066331S250306. Anybody know what to make of that, to know what my 09066331 (or any other part of that ID #) means for my Sprinter?

The first three digits 'WD0' are the World code identifier and indicate the country of manufacture. The next three are the model designation, in your case a '906', then the following three are the model sub designation.
So you have a 906.631 manufactured in GERMANY and badged as a DODGE 2500 destined for CANADA!
