T1n Oil Leak

Hey. I have caught wind of a 2004 316 that might be available (about 250km). Viewing is not possible but I have done some background research and there is a reported oil leak issue. I know this is hopelessly little info to go on, but does anyone know of common issues that might be related to this? Any comments appreciated. Jeff

First off, is it really oil. For me, oil has never dripped. Coolant, fuel and trans.
oil could leak from the oil cooler or filter.
Fuel could be injector area or High pressure pump.
Transmission also has a cooler that could leak.

Thanks Yes, I am curious about that too. I am working on getting some one with a few clues to the vehicle and get more info.
