T1N Plastic Window Guide Replacement

Hey guys, I made a 3D printed replacement clip for the window regulator on the T1N vans since they are known for breaking.

I'd like to give a few away for testing and get some feedback on it. You just have to remove the guide rail from the bottom of the window glass, Clean and lubricate it, snap the new clip into place and slide it into the guide rail. Shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes.

If you would like to try it out just PM mePXL_20200820_195604811.NIGHT.jpg

He´s selling them on Ebay and Amazon for $20.
I´m tempted to try one but it sounds like you have to remove the metal guide from the bottom of the window to install. I have spent some quality time with a rubber mallet and piece of scrap wood trying to get mine off without luck.
This one:
is $50 but does not require removal of the window guide.

You are misleading people, and the one offered here is much easier to install, snap snap. No drilling no removal the entire door power assembly.

I could not find the 3d printed one, and won't pay 50 plus for one thats not a snap on (got to still grind / drill), so I 'whittled' one , its not perfect but works perfectly IMG_4503.jpgIMG_4504.jpgIMG_4505.jpgIMG_4507.jpgIMG_4508.jpg
Could make it with some hardwood, would be as strong as plastic

Building on the ideas above I made the slider out of the corner of a thin plastic cutting board (probably nylon or HDPE). I did not want to remove the pin so I sliced along the long axis with a razor (stanley) knife to the 7mm hole I had drilled. I could then bend one of the arms out to slide it onlto the pin and then into the track and it worked a treat. Hope this idea makes the job easier for someone else.IMG_6304.jpg

Mine came apart today. Did the, bend the arm trick, but I like your idea with the cutting board. I'm going to see if I can get a small carriage bolt and make a square hole in the slider.
Did the one you make last?
