Air temp sensor harness

Is there anything particular to the t1n air temp sensor and harness? My air temp sensor has corroded twice and is reading off by About 20 degrees. Somehow water is getting into the sensor despite greasing it. Can’t seem to find a direct replacement on eurosd parts for the harness. Was thinking of picking up a generic sensor and harness.

Same problem - corrosion creeps up the wires.

Bumper off, and chase it across the front until you find some good copper. Crimp heat shrink and go from their. Grab a new connector and you should be good to go.

The socket is the same as a Landrover D1 air intake temp sensor (mounted on the air box.)
A bit higher quality this 'un, even snipped off from an old LR in a wrecking yard.

What connector are you using. Will a general connector work? It’s just two pins.
