Window help

I went to a glass shop today that told me they could install my windows for me (AMA, bunker window and driver side slide window) I got there and they said they couldn’t because the side ribs are caulked or something and cutting the ribs would mean there would be no stability and the windows would wobble. Sooooo how in the world has everyone else done it if it’s not possible haha thanks!

Since almost all windows require ~1" or greater wall thickness, a spacer frame is bonded to tine inside of the body metal around the cutout. Not rocket science, and just about any shop that installs windows in RVs should be able to work something out.

If you are using direct glazed windows, that's a different matter.
