Such an adventuresome trip would be enhanced if certain unreliable pollution controls could be minimized on a temporary basis. Temporary, being the essential purpose of any GDE tunes I would buy if they were still available, which of course they are not.
GDE is long gone for us here in the States. That his tunes were limited mostly to T1Ns' should have been a no-brainer, except for a few on this forum who successfully put Keith out of business. Specifically, we had mr. dream tour who posted here over 3,000 times in a nine month campaign.
I have to give it to him for his success shutting down GDE.
What else could, or does go wrong on our vans? Not much.
GDE had a solution to not ready for primetime technology we all have been exposed to. I missed out.
I wonder if Keith can still offer his solution to other than the USA based owners.
How about Baja Keith?
The fuel savings alone should have deterred some commenters here who had vans that did not qualify from calling bs for those few owners for whom Keiths tune could be applied.
Done and done. Keith, thanks for coming up with a tune for a very limited few model years where it could be applied.
As one poster stated years ago, his intention was to use Keiths tune only in states where it was permitted, and when entering states where it was not permitted, he would remove it.
I would be doing the same if it was still for sale and using his tune only for my yearly Baja travels. The rest of my time in the States would be detuned back to the factory settings.
