Jack stand points?

Hi all,
We're in a T1N. 2004 140 WB, 2500.
I'm gearing up to Change front and rear pads and rotors.
I have used the provided hydraulic service Jack in the front and rear before. So I know where the main jacking points are.
My question is this:
Where do the jackstands go? Or do I use an alternate jack point to raise her up, then use the known point for my stands?
Also.. are 2T stands strong enough to support the front or the back? Not sure exactly how heavy we are. BUT we're definitely extra weighted because it's a conversion. Maybe another 1500 pounds above curb weight. Maybe even more. Are 3T Jack stands necessary? What would you do?
Thank you!
