We totally need all these emoji. :rad:
Wherever they come from, they’re the best on the internet.:clapping:
Apple and Android emoji are lame in comparison. :snore:

Do we want to get rid of some or do we (or you rather) want to just add these?
Some are meant as replacements. Others and the ones I've posted, are definitely add-ons. It you want, I can mine others out for you...

On the other hand, if we had too many (or simply a broader selection), it would cause many threads to really explode with emojis (and diminish with content).

On the contrary, they help those who have difficulty expressing themselves, whether it be thought or feelings, or in my case more succinctly.

They also serve to eliminate ambiguities, or reflect subtle nuances that for most folks are generally difficult to achieve in the written word, or generally more efficient to get the point across....

...for example, this would express how I really feel and want to put forward as my rebuttal, and with less than a dozen keystrokes or mouse clicks too:

... and yes, Shakespeare just turned over.

Irresistible force? meet immovable object:
:turd:

------
This reminds me of an old non-PC story:
A guy hears some young blokes calling out numbers as women walked by.
"200", "756", 550, 950...
He asked what they were doing.
They said they been reading about the Trojan War, with Helen having a face that launched a thousand ships.
So they were rating the lovelies to that scale: the number of ships it was worth launching.

These icons bring to mind that "a picture is worth a thousand words",
but i fear that we'll have to explore the realm of negative (and perhaps imaginary) numbers.
