Aux fuel tap?

Hi — I have option KL1 “fuel level sensor for aux heater”.

Is the knob at the center of this picture — where the diesel fill pipe intersects with the tank — part of a line I can use to connect an Espar heater to?

Any update on the project?
I just order aftermarket air heater and am getting ready to install it.
The linked connector seems to be part of the hose, but what is the hose?
Heater is coming with its own small fuel pump, who suppose to be installed below tank level at 45 degree. That makes it a bit difficult.

The Aux fuel port on the Sprinter only allows draw down to 1/4 tank...so the fuel pump does not need to be below the tank, only as low as you can ideally go equal to the bottom 1/4 of the tank.

I didnt buy the fuel tap and just put a fuel line on it.

Wish I knew of this, I didnt have to go through so much trouble.

If you need tips on installing the heater I can help. I've done it 3 times now If it's the espar heater.
