Cracked Engine Block "Fix" with JB Weld

I made a big change in the process when I realized that the coolant acts like a solvent for the JB Weld.

That is why we use Belzona in these circumstances instead of JB Weld.

Well I fixed a gaping hole in a Hispano Suiza engine block back in 1968 as an apprentice for a customer.
The original customer is now deceased, however his son still runs the car (an H6) at the Concours d' elegance at the Frampton On Severn Village fete in my my native Gloucestershire.
Here is the engine and it blew a hole in the valley between cylinders 3 rht bank & 4 left bank all from a busted rod . With the help and machine shop instruction from an old lab tech called Jim Hawkins aero mechanic WW! RFC 1914 to 1918 Spads and Sopwith Camels (Wolseley Viper engine) we fabricated the missing bevel drive gears for the valves on WW2 donated machine tools from the USA .
