Macerator Toilet will not stop filling with water?

2015 Unity TB.
Flush, water fills non-stop. Have to use pump only to flush. Then re-fill toilet with sink water.
Searched forum, no match.
Any help appreciated.

If this is a macerator toilet then it is probably a problem with the control panel. Can’t think of anything else that could be affecting the flush and fill.

Ditto DiverBob's comment. I've had to replace the control module a couple of times over the years on macerator toilets that have had issues similar to what you describe.

Have you tried changing between the two flush modes? There is also an empty bowl flush by pressing both buttons simultaneously and releasing to empty the bowl and leaving it dry for travel.

When the water would not stop filling the bowl, how did you stop the water? Shutting off the water pump switch?

Might be grains of sand preventing the water valve from closing.

I have not had this problem so these are only suggestions.

lot of missing detail here.

control panel is under the bathroom sink cabinet.

as is the control valve. (mounted as high as you can get under the corner near the sink faucet)

there also should be a dedicated fuse for the toilet.


can you explain more what is going on? when does it fill? what sounds do you hear?

does it do this with the master 12 volt switch turned to off? (which would isolate to the valve vs the control)

Control Valve was bad. Small, inexpensive part. Very hard to reach.
