Denver area dealers?

Hi all -

On a cross country road trip and just got NoX error codes. Heading towards Denver; any recommendations for which dealer to go to? It should be under emissions warranty, otherwise I’d head to Dennis.

Cheers,
Greg

Not Mercedes of Westminster. "Should be under emissions warranty" was what I thought when I went there. I was wrong, but they couldn't tell me why. Avoid them like the plague.

Mercedes of Littleton did a good job the last time I was there.

Either MB Littleton (Rory - Sprinter Specialist) or Dennis at Linden. Both great and really helped me with my drive train issue.

Agree on MB Westminster - they are terrible.

Thanks – I contacted Littleton this morning, as I figured that Dennis probably didn’t do warranty work. Waiting to hear back on them now.

Sounds like they can’t take me until Thursday as the service writer isn’t available until then... Kind of disappointed; can’t just a regular mechanic?

Can anyone chime in on whether it’s safe to drive with those errands; can I continue to Florida?

At least I have friends in the area...

Cheers,
Greg

Did you try MB Loveland? A little north of Denver. I've had my 11' in there a couple times (and once at Linden) and they treated me good. They replaced all my EGR under the extended 120K warranty when I complained of hesitation

Well, I called and left a message in the service department, also sent a text through their website, and no one has returned my call or text. So far, not impressed with Loveland...

If you are getting count downs we can re-set it for you so that you can extend your delay /lead time to get the van in for warranty service.

This is a free FOC for forum members.

Thanks, Dennis! No count-downs as yet. I might pop by anyway, just to visit a forum legend! [emoji3]

That's too bad about MB Loveland. What little I have dealt with them was pretty decent. Sounds like Dennis has you covered if you need it. Safe travels.

Ugh. Van out of warranty by 3 months. Two sensors and a scr; $3k at the dealer.

Going to give you a call, Dennis!

Rats, Dennis can’t take me until after Christmas, and I need to be on the road. At least they are knocking 10% off. It’s still gonna hurt....

I'd think SCR and sensors would be emissions warranty that is good up to 100k miles. Warranty booklet says "SCR Catalyst" is covered under emissions.

What dealer are you at? How many miles on the van?

I ask, because I had a dealer try to charge me $3000+ to replace EGR valve when I was well under 100k.

Mb Littleton. I thought so too, but apparently it’s out of the 5yr warranty and not the mileage (65k).

Looking at the long-term warranty for California vehicles, it looks like I should be up to 7 years. Gonna have to check on this...
