Flexible Black Water Sewer Hose Under Van Leaking

Noticed a leak with the black water (fun!)

Ran some tests with just water and got this video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mEXqQbDaRFD5G_-hgjac37-aghtSzTyH/view?usp=sharing

It looks like, under the van, there's a blue, flexible, sewer-hose that runs from the black-water tank to the common pipe and it's leaking.

After we shot the video, I got this image of the hose itself. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dDzIZFgMq7G1gSuNFmRckX_rsdrEy98A/view

No bueno.

Question: Where can I get a replacement for this?

I saw the part number in the catalog is part #23
https://www.airstream.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/2005-Westfalia-parts.pdf

It looks like the replacement part isn't easily findable based on our search. Has anyone else had luck replacing this?

I noticed that the parts catalog says "With bayonet connection on both sides (pushed together approx 60mm"

Can these be found online? I can't find one short enough and with double bayonets.

If I have to build my own, it looks like I'd have to go custom with double bayonets. I've never done this before. Happy to try but does anyone have any recommendations on building a custom sewer hose? I really want to get this right.

Thanks for you're help. I'll do a video of the repair and upload it once we finalize the approach.

Yeah, mine did that a few years ago. The hose is just a short length of standard 3 inch sewer hose, because the black water tank and the hard pipe are offset an inch or so. It's a hack job, for sure, and kind of pain to replace. But there's no mystery to any of the pieces. Most everything seems to be made by Valterra; I don't recall anything being too hard to source. But buy the best hose you can, so you're not doing this again in a few years. While you're down there, lube up the cable and operator of the knife valve down there; I had to replace mine because of road salt and grime.

Probably a pair of these is what you're looking for, although you can probably salvage the original couplings:

There was an owner in Colorado that had drafted up a replacement coupling years ago, but I don't think he ever got it produced.

I went thru the same thing earlier this year at T&C New Mexico.
I was able to find all hoses, connectors, and hose clamps at WallMart. They are standard RV drain size. Don't bother with the fancy connectors. They are a waste of time.

Dismantle the drain system from the discharge cap to the gray and black valves piece by piece. Observe the length of the flex lines and cut new ones the same length. Secure with new hose clamps (DON'T USE THE OLD ONES) and you should be good to go.
It's not a complicated process, just take your time.

Be sure to flush both the gray and black tanks thoroughly before you begin.

Good Luck! And remember. A plumber only needs to know 3 things: payday is on Friday, **** flows downhill, and don't lick your fingers.

A mod idea thread re rubber coating that hose but also info and photo on replacement from OneManVan.

There are even shorter 2' compartment sewer hoses, but as the shorter hoses cost just as much as longer hoses and as you'll probably have to cut the hose to size anyways, might just buy a longer one and use the unused portion as an extra extension hose. You can even buy sewer hoses without the end connectors.

Look forward to what you end up doing.
