Any concerns using Walmart's "SuperTech" DEF?

I typically enter Mexico with my DEF tank near full. I carry 1/2 gal. extra

Coincidentally, I had the opportunity to go DEF shopping just moments ago.

We compared the labels on Blue DEF, Peak Premium Blue, and the Autozone store brand. The labeling of the contents was identical on each box, including the industry standard designation. The sole exception was that Peak Premium Blue contains a “Proprietary Additive Package, whatever that might be.

The store brand cost $14. Blue DEF with identical contents cost $22. The premium DEF with the same contents plus a “proprietary additive package” cost $28.

DEF is DEF. I paid $14 and went on my way.

To each their own.
Yeah given a choice I wouldn’t pay $28, or $22 either. Which is why I typically just pick up Peak Blue at costco for $14 either right before the tank reaches 50%, or soon after. Or I’d have no problem using the shell from TSC again.
I’d use generic in a pinch no problem.
Good idea on keeping a 1/2 gal on trips, I’m going to look for a suitable container.

Per my rough calculation, the DEF tank on my dually gives me 6-7000 miles range, so how far into Mexico you plan to drive?
Than planning goes long way.

My DEF tank was giving me warnings within my first 4,000 miles of buying the van and that's on a 2023 170 AWD so I may be going through it faster than you. I'll probably make room for a full container of extra - what is that, three gallons?
I want to go to the bottom of South America eventually so I guess that means I'm planning to go to the bottom of mainland Mexico and beyond.

The warning on my van, after AEM comes at 30%, what still gives me over 2000 miles range.
DEF use changes with load. Surprised me on my Ford, who I drove with heavy camper. Coming back from vacations, we made loop via Death Valley. Per my calculation I should have DEF lasting another 200 miles, while having 120 miles home.
But coming from Death Valley there is huge elevation change, where having 400HP under the hood, I took at 60 mph. The DEF gauge was moving visible and I made it home on DEF fumes. Ford, when running out of DEF puts speed restrictions at 55 mph, so it is not as scary as MB countdown.
