Hi, what do you store it in?
To each their own.Coincidentally, I had the opportunity to go DEF shopping just moments ago.
We compared the labels on Blue DEF, Peak Premium Blue, and the Autozone store brand. The labeling of the contents was identical on each box, including the industry standard designation. The sole exception was that Peak Premium Blue contains a “Proprietary Additive Package, whatever that might be.
The store brand cost $14. Blue DEF with identical contents cost $22. The premium DEF with the same contents plus a “proprietary additive package” cost $28.
DEF is DEF. I paid $14 and went on my way.
My DEF tank was giving me warnings within my first 4,000 miles of buying the van and that's on a 2023 170 AWD so I may be going through it faster than you. I'll probably make room for a full container of extra - what is that, three gallons?Per my rough calculation, the DEF tank on my dually gives me 6-7000 miles range, so how far into Mexico you plan to drive?
Than planning goes long way.
I believe the typical containers I find def in are 2.5 gal.My DEF tank was giving me warnings within my first 4,000 miles of buying the van and that's on a 2023 170 AWD so I may be going through it faster than you. I'll probably make room for a full container of extra - what is that, three gallons?
I want to go to the bottom of South America eventually so I guess that means I'm planning to go to the bottom of mainland Mexico and beyond.
