Thule- new awning option

I just installed the 8' Thule Hideaway on my 144. I mounted it directly to my Flatline Van Co low pro roof rack with some custom brackets made from 2" aluminum square tubing. It turned out pretty awesome, except the legs on the awning don't touch the ground.. or even come close. For now I'm using some PVC pipe as an extension until I come up with something better...

Picture of the Thule awning with the Thule tent. The tent was awesome since we had some decent winds in WY while we camped. It provided a nice extra shelter.

Thanks! I just slapped them on with vhb tape for now. The surface area is kind of small. Not sure if it'll hold. I'm testing with the white ones for now. If it fails, I'll pick up a set of these and use them with the black set.
@pwe312 How is the VHB holding up on that small surface area? Considering doing the same.
