Yes, during a recent trip to the Guanacaste Province in Costa Rica, I did note a propensity of Hyundai Sprinter like vans for tourist services.
Hyundai by the way has a large vehicle "parc" penetration in CR with Toyota in both passenger cars and vans .
On two occasions did see some new MB Sprinter minibuses for tourist use running in and out of Liberia airport for hotel clients presumably .
These were all four cylinder diesel variants judging by that "familiar 4 banger exhaust sound" for those of us accustomed to these vans in N/A.
By the way I never saw any T1N vans which were in service some 8 years ago when I was last down there looking at tourist fleets for investment & development.
Still, I did not see any MB service points in the area which probably means repairs and service still have to go to San Jose for dealer service & parts .
