Newbie here , I moved to Australia from Brazil 11 years ago and after this 11 years the time has come to build my house on wheels and travel around this beautiful country!
I came across this 2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 416CDI LWB Auto MY12

But with so many models and so much information Iam a bit overwhelmed .
If you guys could at least let me know if this is a lemon I would really appreciate !

There is more self advertising than pictures of the van, I would be very wary of such a dealer as the seem scared to post pics of the van.

Not many photos of the Van at all , I will call the dealer and check the Van my self .

That van is a short wheel base, to small to use as a motor home. The mid wheel base is only just big enough, the long wheel base is preferred if you a staying in it for many months. The 416 is a good model, it means it is 4 ton capacity with 160 horse power. Try to get a 416 long wheel base. Eric.

It's almost impossible to tell if something is a lemon. I would have an nrma check done on any vehicle.

The Van I posted the link was sold today.
I will definitely do a RACQ check on the Van first , but before I spend this money I would like to make sure the Van Im interest in is a Good Model and year etc , and Im sure here is the place where I can find the proper advice that I need.
I got another look today and came back with this 2 vans.

The first one is advertised as a LWB but it is not. The second one is 5 ton vehicle a bit to heavily sprung and lower gearing.One of the most common problem with people building there first motor home is they make it far to heavy, this 5 ton unit should be able to take the weight but would be uncomfortable to drive lightly loaded.
