USA Truck Nationals at Carlisle Pa. August 3rd. 4th. and 5th. Gates open Friday at 7:00, limited parking on the grounds $10.00 for the event. Camp grounds near, Cracker Barrel very near over night is welcome,I've never been rousted at a Cracker barrel,super company,special parking spots,excellent breakfast. Egg sandwich on sour dough bread $4.97 Cowans Gap State Park is near, not close but an excellent state park,$22.00 a nite all types of hook ups. Very easy drive to Carlisle Pa. along the Pa. Turnpike. Gate prices Friday$8.00 Saturday $9.00 Sunday $8.00 If you're driving some distance be sure to visit Historic Gettysburg, about 45 mins. away truly an emotional experence your first time. Everything seems to br first come basis. There will be food, beer,and dancing girls and even some trucks. There may even be a vendor on the grounds.
