I will let Davydd describe the Advanced RV system...
Roadtrek replaces the propane Onan with an auxiliary alternator and the air conditioning can be run off batteries through the inverter using the dedicated aux engine alternator to charge the batteries as needed...
I understand that, however it requires use of the very expensive main engine in a way that I don't believe is advisable. But I don't want to start the idling discussion up again though so I'll just least it at that.

Nine years with an Onan generator I managed to use it for about 30 hours and rarely ran our air conditioner. For one I never plan camping trips where I would need air conditioning. Not once did we need it going to Alaska and back. Not once in the Maritimes. Never in the upper Midwest (MN, WI and MI). We go south in the spring, winter and fall only. With our Advanced RV we boondock 95% of the time. Now if I need air conditioning, I am confident I can get through a night off our lithium ion batteries. Others have accomplished it. I estimate I could run the air conditioning continuously for 5 hours and pretty much indefinitely because we have built in Autogen and a Delco-Remy 320 second alternator that charges at a rate of 230 amps when idling.

Yes, you can run it off the inverter but you will use less battery charge if you run a CPAP directly from 12v DC power with an adapter and most have that as an optional accessory.
Uses less power to not convert DC to 120v power and the inverter also uses significant power just being on which you can avoid by using 12v directly.
"Can you convert a usb port to a cigarette lighter plug input?" I don't know what the USB charge ports are rated for, but I'm guessing maybe 2 amps at best, like a charger for a tablet. Knit says his/her power supply is 5 amps....
Any way to contact Roadtrek to see for sure what the amp rating is on a USB port? Other than that, it shouldn't be a huge problem to change from a USB to a round 12V lighter-type port. Might depend on how "pretty" you want the result to be, however.

USB charge ports in the RV are wired to a 12 volt supply, you have to completely remove the USB port and change it to a 12 volt DC socket/plug. You don't want to tap into the USB port output power as it is stepped down to 5 volt mostly are maxed to 2.1 amps per port (at 5 volts). Just make sure the 12 volt wiring to the USB port can handle your intended 12 volt load.

If you live in the US you can have the Mercedes dealer reprogram the vehicle to allow the daytime running lights to be controlled by the steering wheel controls.

Yes, if your Sprinter is registered in the US. Then, with Voltstart automatically or you manually running the engine to activate the underhood generator it will avoid having the headlights and any other external lights coming on.

Mine started smoking and is now not igniting. The Alde 3010 system is working fine on electric but I’m not able to get it working via diesel.
Some have suggested that the diesel burner may need cleaning / maintenance. Can’t seem to find a part number or any information.

Eddie, did you ever find any information about the diesel burner? Apparently Alde US (Truma) has no information on anything diesel related.
Eddie and TGR, I'm interested in service info for the Diesel Alde system as well. My diesel system cuts off very quickly, and I'm not getting much radiant heat from the under-floor coils or registers. My helpful RV service center replaced the Alde 3010 controller & harness, which did not improve things. It seems reasonable that the diesel burner might need serviced.
TGR, Truma also told me they did not acquire diesel components from Alde for the North American market, and would not service them. I plan to use an independent RV technician to service my diesel Alde.
