Vic edit:
This thread contains some great information and pictures as relates to the electric remote door locks. Thanks goes to Autostaretx and all contributors.

I'm happy to say I've finally figured out why my 2005 2500 power locks are messed up. Ever since I bought the vehicle, back in January, the door ajar sensor has been going off for one of the doors other than the drivers door. To add to the confusion I have a double sliding door van, meaning that there are five doors which could trigger the right blinking light on the power lock switch, as well as all the fun lock-unlock lock-unlock-lock business.
Anyway, after cleaning all of the contacts and pins and replacing the passenger side sliding door latch/lock control (was bent from the previous owner) nothing was fixed with the door ajar sensor. However just tonight I found what I'm 99% sure is the cause and that is one of the wires that is soldered onto the contacts has broken off. The wire that is broken off is the bottom wire of the four contact points. So before trying to fix this, I thought I would ask some of your advice:
1. How do you remove these contacts so that I can get in and solder the wire back on?
2. Would there be any way to just get rid of the door ajar sensor on the sliding door?
I think part of my problem is a lack of knowledge of what the three connections (6 wires) to the power lock actuator do. My guess is that one is power, one triggers actuation and one is the door ajar sensor? Anyone know which is which? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
PS: If anyone is having this same problem, a good way to diagnose if the wire is broken off the contact is to try and gently spin the contact pin. If the contacts pin spins, the wire is broken off. If I would have known this tid bit it would have saved me a lot of time...
