Hi Jim, its attached to the door at the end of the frame with an angle bracket and a couple of small bolts. They are there just to steady the carrier, all the load is taken through the hinge brackets. Cheers Peter
Harald, Have you considered using a US forwarding service for what you require?
Likely that Agile will ship to the forwarding service in the US; they'll ship to you for an additional cost.
May be worth it to you?
4040 alloy extrusion. No welding of frame. Local fabricator knocked up the wheel mount that bolts to the frame. You do have to drill a couple of holes in the door and plate inside, but easy to do and cost me less than $400
