We use a fuel pump that was once chassis mounted on Chevrolet PU having a 5/16 to 3/8' hose stubs on either end
Have 5 gallon old clean oil pail on hand and fill it with 2 gallons of #2 mineral spirits from Home Depot etc
Disconnect one cooler line at the transmission and with some rudimentary connectors attach the pump output hose to the cooler banjo fitting. Drop the pump suction line into the pail.
Open and disconnect the other opposite transmission banjo fitting and place a further catch pail or tray to capture what comes out.
Start the pump by connecting it to a 12 volts battery source .
Once empty , fill with another 2 gallons and repeat.

Now reverse the flow and repeat with yet another two gallons.
By this time the flow should be clean fluid.
Blow the lines fluid free with shop air .
Now pump a qrt of specified transmission fluid through the open lines observing a clean flow.
