15A Receptacle

1st let me tell you about my old setup. I had an E250 with the cord just dangling in front of the left rear wheel. Plugging it in involved me getting on my hands and knees to dig out the cord to plug it in to my aux battery system.

Now with the sprinter. I am getting too old for this crawling around stuff. All of the options I found involved drilling several holes and installing a zinc or plastic water resistant door to protect the 15A plugs. CLunky, needing paint and just not a good solution.

Now comes my local marine supplier! Marinco has several variations of shore power receptacles for marine use. One hole, water tight and just plain better looking.

Next, I have to get my Adrian steel shelving to mount my 4 deep cycle batteries and Inverter / Charger.

PS, I put black silicone around the wiring inside, to cover the exposed wiring.
