I need pistons

New member
OK, so I need two pistons for our 2005 Sprinter engine and rings for the other three. I have been trying to get in touch with Dr.A and have called three times and sent a PM but haven't been able to get in touch with him. The one time I talked to him before dissection, he said that he has used pistons available, so I have been trying and trying. Maybe he isn't the best source because right now we are actually losing money waiting to get parts. Does anyone know how else to get in touch with him or have another source for pistons and rings? Europarts shows pistons, but the rings are not in stock.

I have another guy trying to get them, but I really need to get this stiff coming today.

Try www.sprinterparts.net - better yet, call 'em.

Berry CDJ Sprinter Parts: 800-926-8254

Have your VIN in your hand when you talk to 'em.

You could try Wayne. If he doesn't have them, he would certainly know where to get them.

I have PMd Wayne as well, but haven't heard from him either. I'll try again. I called Sprinterparts and went to voicemail with a full mailbox.

It's like no one wants me to get this running.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I had to do something and finally went with Europarts SD. I'll get everything tomorrow and spend the weekend building it all. It should be fun.

I wish that I had been able to get in touch with Dr. A or Wayne, but I haven't heard a word from them.:idunno:

Don't feel like you're being singled out. I have had quite a few contacts with both Doktor A and Wayne. I always look forward to their responses. Sometimes I'm surprised with how quickly we get to talk, other times the delayed response makes me feel like maybe I've overstayed my welcome. I've decided to not feel that is the case. They are both very busy and have other things going on in their lives. Sometimes it just doesn't work out.

Europarts is not a bad choice for a supplier by any standard as far as I'm concerned. Good luck. vic
