My 2009 Chateau Citation has the storage and entertainment center above the cab, so this mod applies only to that configuration.
The dealer added a 500W inverter and stuck it behind the TV. There was enough slack in the wires to allow me to mount it behind the removable curved panel to the right of the TV. I can remove that panel to turn the inverter on and off and to check the condition of the coach batteries using the digital display built into the inverter.
I made a panel that fits just inside the cabinet opening to the left of the TV. I covered it with vinyl upholstery and installed two duplex outlets. One is fed by the inverter and the other by shore/gen. The little indicator lamp shows that the inverter is on. I just plug the TV into the appropriate source. This also turns out to be a useful place to charge phones, iPad, etc.
