I never really listened to King Crimson. The guys I knew that liked it all were into huffing hydrocarbons and aerosol antiperspirant, something that my tribe found disgusting.

And you know how tribes are -- if you shun them you also have to shun their music.

Somewhat later, I had nephews who were Headbangers, and they shunned the Wiggers and their music. Some things never change. I can't wait to see what tribes my grandchildren join (not!).

Apparently, Robert Fripp is very complimentary of Steve Vai's work playing some very challenging guitar riffs. As soon as they play within striking distance of me, I'll see them live.
