Agile Coils in Front, VC Mini Spring in Back

I have peiced together a full Agile Rip Kit via Facebook marketplace place, except for the spring pack. Some stuff has 4k-10k miles on it, but the wheel spacers are brand new. Thinking about installing a VC mini spring pack instead of the Agile. My understanding is this will result in my back end being about .5 inches lower then it would with an Agile Spring pack but would save me almost 2k on purchase, shipping and install.

Budget is a factor (i did already spend 6 months getting the parts together) but with the rear leafs being one of the most involved parts of the install I don’t want to regret my decision and have to redo it.

Any thoughts, anyone have this set up?

And just in case anyone asks. I am within the specs for the mini leaf. Fully loaded 4660lbs on back axle and 3760lbs on front.

Ordered from Mike at VC. Very stoked I posted. Thanks for the tip. Will be getting full 2 inch lift in the back from VC kit and 1.5” from Agile in the front and will report back.

I added the VC mini spring pack on back of my fully loaded Airstream Interstate 19 (2023 Sprinter 144 AWD) as it was sagging. My rear axle weight is 4980 lbs. Very happy with results. Next I need to change to better shocks in future. I won’t do the Agile Fox front struts as they require wheel spacers.

I think you will like the Agile coil-overs. I got Koni coil-overs from them and extremely happy. It raised the front 1" back to stock ride height. And I get good suspension travel, I measure it with a tie wrap on the piston rod same as my mtn bike. What good is 7" of available suspension travel if you don't get to use it?

VC apparently has off menu leaves you can add to the mini pack if you try it and want it taller. I believe @Mr. Bills uses them.

VC used to ship 6 leaves with the Mini Pack, but since most people only used three they stopped that practice but will ship the additional three leaves upon request.

The parts needed to convert from a 3-leaf mini-pack to the 6-leaf mini-pack are: P/N 3016 (3 additional leaves, no charge) and P/N 7016 (bracket/U-bolt kit), which is an off-menu package not found on the website.

I was also told by VC team that you need to use shock relocation kit, bump stop relocation kit, and sway bar extension, if you use more than three leafs. Agile doesn’t have any of those things while providing a similar lift in the back, so maybe this is over the top. Since they recommended and it seems like easy additional steps I am going to do it.

All you need are the part numbers in my post.

You might or might not need longer bumpstops. I didn’t.

I didn’t need shock “relocation brackets” either, but I use VC Baja upper and lower shock brackets and custom tuned Fox reservoir shocks with extension and compression lengths spec’d for my actual wheel travel.

Great! I paid more than i should have for install which might have wiped out some of my parts savings haha but van looks great. Everything works fine. I am running 275/70/17 which is same as before. Might upstage to 285 when they are done. The van feels much tighter on curved roads and looks better, i think i can drive 5-10mph faster on dirt roads before it starts vibrating my van. If your after pure performance maybe get adjustable shocks, i was mainly after the lift and this did that.

need to park it next to another van to see the size difference. i think the 170’s need the lift to just look “normal” due to their length
The van looks good! I was curious how the height increase from the VC springs versus the Agile coilovers would turn out. Looks good from here, ha.
