Dually Valves supply valve stems specific to our OE and some aftermarket dually wheels.
Went looking as it is new tire time and I want to size up. Found an aftermarket 6.5" wide steel wheel from RTX that looked to be perfect for 235/85R16 tires, alas RTX was simply selling OE 5.5" wheels with made up BS specs and marketing. Bought a dually valve kit in anticipation of using the RTXs but sent the garbage RTX wheels back. Ended up with a set of Torque Rodeo 6X16" wheels that are fronts and outer rear specific so didn't need the kit.
Still wanted better valve stem access for the stock inner rear wheels so going with just the straight 7" inner stems also from Dually Valve.
Sharing here for two reasons:
First, I do think this is the best strategy for dually valve stem access and these folks make a very nice, quality looking kit. Stock rear duals are a total hassle to maintain air pressure in. At my shop with my compressor and inflator setup, it's less of a problem. On the road using gas station inflators, terrible.
Second, best customer service I've had in a very long time from Dually Valves! A knowledgeable person responded quickly to my emailed inquiry and answered questions after asking the pertinent ones and solved my issue. Company President and GM direct email addresses were listed in her signature telling me this company cares about their own accountability.
So refreshing in an age of greedy private equity takeovers with AI slop customer service and internal ethics designed to insulate and prevent any accountability to customers that has become de rigueur.
Finding good people providing good products in this time of pervasive enshitification is so refreshing.
