Can anyone confirm if the 2025 Launch Creader Elite 2.0 for Sprinter & Maybach can initiate the valve flushing sequence on the newer 9G-Tronic sprinter transmission? This is a required step during fluid fill to remove trapped air. I’ve sent this question directly to Launch and have received no response. See following link to scanner.
Can anyone recommend an alternate scan tool that can perform this function for under $500 usd?
I am thinking about doing the transmission service without the valve flushing sequence then driving the van through all gears including reverse, letting the transmission cool, and then re-performing the fluid level verification process (over filling, getting trans fluid up to temp, draining the fluid down to full level). Anyone have an opinion on if this is a good approach?
