12 day trip from western Colorado to see the Northern California coast and the southern Oregon coast. Cape Blanco and Sue-meg campgrounds are both highly recommended - stayed in each for about 4 nights. Fabulous time of year from a weather standpoint - 50-60F with occasional rain. We got great input from Casey Tibbs (thanks Mark!) for places to see around Sue-meg (Agate campground). Both campgrounds get high marks for cleanliness, privacy, quiet and both had great beach access. If you’re a cyclist like me there is also great riding from the campgrounds. We took Hwy 50 ( the loneliest Hwy in the US) through Nevada and back to Colorado and regret not spending more time exploring its subtle charms - we’re going to make this a separate trip. I tried downloading my pics but I used my Sony camera most of the time and the files were too large - the two that loaded are from my phone.
