Yeah there was a lot of Grenadier stuff at the Adventure VAN Expo.
Not that I’m in the market for something like that but as soon as I heard it was a BMW engine it was a big NOPE from me. Just add Lucas electric and some British oil seals and … well you know…

I do like the looks of them and hear they’re awesome and uber capable though, and I wish all the best to anyone that has one.

And the formerly $750,000 asking price Sprinter from Rogue Van Co was there.
I didn’t ask what the asking price is now but I think I saw it recently somewhere priced at 6 something.

Electrical system porn in a tiny home demo trailer by Explorist Life. There’s a rack of 4 server rack batteries lower left, so 20+ kwh, 48V.
I bought a ceiling puck light wiring kit of basically just wires and wago connectors from them for $50.
I figure it saves me at least a couple hrs.

This builder Rover Vans makes much of what they use, all the exterior and interior metal work, carriers, side steps, roof rack, and all. Builder is out of Chicago.
Also makes a rear door handle for use with rear door carrier.
Verrrrry Interesting slide out shower pan.
Real slick fold out bed.
Aluminum cabinets with fabric over them for a warmer feel and no ouchies on your forehead if you bump them.
Very nice workmanship on everything.

I really do like the hose set up they had. They’re super lightweight and fold up small in a little bag. The compressor looks beefy I should have dug a bit deeper on it but needed to get over to the bathroom lol.

Dang I was proly making my way to the bathroom. Had too much coffee and what seemed like gallons of water, I seemed to be a bit dehydrated up there. That and my usual A.D.D. when there’s a hundred badass Sprinters and all that gear around. 🤣🤦🏽‍♂️

Let us know how you like that compressor!

I don’t recall what builder(s) these 2 items were from but man that’s a beefy carrier setup.
I’m looking to get a low open box similar to that for my setup.
And a bathroom / shower setup on a 170. Must be nice to have all that room!

2024 AWD HR CREW VAN
they are all over complicated. Every 5-7 yrs, you may want to have a new Sprinter due to substantial improvements in drivability, safety and new useful features. I think having a better van is more important than having so expensive stuff inside. However, I am still pumping in money to my van:)

Owl has an Ekko page on the website but I don’t see anything that’s actually for the Ekko. It will be interesting to see how popular they get and if the aftermarket cares to get that specific.

Cool vans if you have the room, it’s amazing how much the interior opens up with the bigger dimensions and square corners.

Yes, I’m definitely noticing more Ekkos in both the “TrEkko” and “SprEkko” versions lately.
They are LARGE.
Asked John at Owl if the Ekko was his new daily driver, he laughed and said no way but definitely his go to for trips now.


@grantwilson from Freedom Van Go has had one for several months now and has his all tricked out from his shop.
I think there’s a pic somewhere here with him gettin’ a little air with it…
