Sprinter front seat upgrade

Hello all, looking for some information regarding front seats from the hive mind. I currently have a 2008 NCV3 311 sprinter and the factory front seats whilst functional are not overly comfortable. We are both bothered by swivel seats or anything but would like to retain the storage under the seat and are looking for upgrades to make longer journeys more comfortable. Any suggestions welcome.

Saab seats for my vote.

Fully electric heated memory seats with a large storage pouch on the back and a decent size pouch behind your knees.

Had them in my last van for 7 years, these black set getting on for 6 years without any complaints, super comfy.
My next vehicle will also have saab seats.

Any additional info on what Saab gifted you with this beauty? Any wiring issues? I'm desperately looking for an upgrade to my stock seats. Thanks in advance!

I purchased seat swivels that had a quite universal mounting. Picked up some 2018 sprinter seats. Bolted into the swivel easily.

Similar question from me - I have just purchased a 2007 Sprinter 511 CDi Minibus and it still has the original seats in it.
A double seat for the passengers and a single captain seat.
I want to replace those with new seats that can swivel.
Can I buy almost any new seat to fit to a swivel base or does it need to be a specific seat?
Thank you!

Depends on the swivel.
I purchased ones that had holes up the sides for many types.
I installed 2018 seats easily.

I am also particularly interested in this topic. My wife has MS and long trips are hard on her. Ideally I want a comfortable passenger seat, with integrated heating, fine adjustment (power would be ideal) of lumbar, seat back etc. Amazing would be an integrated foot rest and massaging function.

There are RV and Van seat manufacturers that make such a thing but their quality is unknown:

There are the pricy but well reviewd Scheel Manns:

Then there are options like Toyota Sienna recliners (also Kia Sedona but hard to find) which I have seen added to the rear of a sprinter but never adapted to the front.

Hi All

I am new to the group, so not sure how to go about the question and keep it short but i have just put an A Class drivers seat in to my 907 sprinter van and the wiring plugs and wiring is totally different on the seat from the original seat and just wondered if anyone can advise on the best way to sort out the wiring/Plugs so i dont have the Restraint Sys Malfunction light on the dash. TIA
