We continue to tweak storage for ski season. Got a used, long rooftop ski rack from a buddy. It is working out well. Bolted it to the back side of our bed to hold skis in place. We added a boot tray underneath to catch the water.

Nice. Sure couldn't have done that with my skis from back in the day ranging from 203cm to 213cm. Thankfully, I lived at the hill so they stayed hung up in the shop rack. I would just take my boots to be sure they dried each night.

Living on the hill is the best way to do it. But then most of us had to move and get real jobs. Who out there has an owl ski box and how do you like it? Any issues with break ins, or with ski bindings icing over? How do you separate the skis inside the box.

I just got a second hand owl ski box but haven't mounted it yet. Seems like it really needs some internal padding and a way to mount a strap / bungee to keep things secure and not just bouncing around inside of the box... would love to see what others have come up with.
