How was it working with the Marathon Plus? Easy to cut? Did you wrap it around plywood panels or just cut it to panel edge without wrapping? I have some samples coming, just curious if tweed frays at all when cutting.I 2nd perfect fit - 6 months ago I ordered the marathon plus (which has foam already laminated to marathon fabric ) for same price as just fabric so deals are also possible
When I first heard about Marathon Plus I had concerns about being able to cleanly wrap the edges and corners of upholstered panels. When installing standard Marathon I typically end the foam backing at the edge and then carefully cut and wrap the Marathon fabric around the edges. I could see the Marathon Plus working on straight edges but it is the corners that get tricky with overlapping layers of fabric. The foam would work against you unless you could easily peel the foam off.How was it working with the Marathon Plus? Easy to cut? post pictures !Dropped van off at Built for the East in Granby, MA to have the Agile Race RIP kit installed. Also having them take care of some other exterior items that Ive just lost steam on. Agile winch bumper and skid plates, on-board air kit, 40 gal S&B tank, and some other smaller items since the grill will be apart. Can not wait to get it back!
Oh yeah for sure! For anyone one in New England hes the guy to go to. He did the suspension on my last van as well as some other items. I recommend them to all my clients as I am not set up to do suspension.great guy to take it to!
