I updated with the latest software but it does not fix it. It only "reboots" (about half the time it comes back on to the posted GPS trip and XM station, the other times it goes to the main setup screen. Does not matter what page you are on, if the engine is running, it reboots

Has it got any eco mode or standby shut off in the setup menu?
Check fuses and their holders whilst someone else watches the radio (for it to go off if you find a loose wire).

Is it connected to the vehicle canbus?
If it is then unplug it and try again to see if it still happens.
Good luck 👍

I do not know if it has any Echo mode or standby shut off in the setup, I have never seen it before, I am going to try to hit the reset button to see if that has any impact. It is not a loose wire because it happens 100 times now every 30 minutes while it is running and you can set your watch by it. That is not the symptom of a loose wire. I do not know what a vehicle canbus is can you clue me in? It is hooked up electrically to both the chassis battery and as a second power source it goes through the battery disconnect on the coach portion of the rv.

I have this same Interstate and radio. It does have a canbus connection that allows adjusting radio volume from the steering wheel controls. There is an aftermarket adapter that ties into canbus and connects to the Kenwood radio.

Good luck,
