replacement A/C for SS Agile

I have a 2020 Agile and the A/C has stopped working.

Is there an upgraded unit that will fit without modification that doesn't sound like a lawnmower when it's running - any maybe works better too?

I would like to replace my AC with Houghton heat pump, but wondering how cool or warn in hot or cold days the heat pump can deliver.
It will be great if a heat pump can do both cooling and heating and save the gas furnace. The space of the furnace can be used for a battery to power the heat pump.

Before we bought our SS Agile, we had a T@B teardrop camper, equipped with both a propane furnace and a "Cool Cat" air-to-air heat pump. I believe the literature indicated the heat pump was good for heat down to around 40F. Newer designs (our T@B was a 2004 model) might do better.
