No power

I have a 2018 Roadtrek MB 2500 diesel… today went to start it and nothing, no power. No power to open the doors, no power to dash, can’t move selector from park to neutral … battery under hood checks full charge. ??? Any others experience this condition? What was issue and what resolved the problem… thanks

The battery under the hood is your house battery and NOT the starter battery.

The starter battery is located under the floor boards in front of your drivers seat. Or you can attach a charger or jump start battery to the red and black terminals under the hood.

Thanks for reply, presently there is no power anywhere, key fob won’t open doors, opened door with key. Then with key in the ignition nothing, no lights on panel trans locked in park ??
checked manual and noticed “thief immobilizer” might be activated? But no directions to immobilize it….

As your other thread said: the battery under the hood is NOT your starter battery. (it's your "House" or Auxiliary battery)

Your starter battery is located in a box under your (the driver's) feet.

You could run a jumper cable from your House battery positive post to the red JUMPer post under the hood.

Thanks for reply….Yes to check the connection and reconnected but it had no effect

So lift the floor in front of the drivers seat and measure the voltage directly on the battery terminals and we'll go from there.

Called Mercedes road service and they came out and jumped the vehicle. I drove it around for awhile to charge battery. Will see if it holds, if not service tech said call again and he will bring and install new battery…
