Help with replacement of discontinued In-dash Fusion RV-IN801 head; best option?

My 2018 Coachmen Galleria on a 2016 MB build has a failing radio portion of the Fusion RV-IN801 head.
What are the best in-dash replacements using existing plugs and surrounds?

Thanks!

I always suggest, go to crutchfield.com and they will tell you what will fit your vehicle and what adapters you need. The audio system you have may be unique to the outfitter. I don't know much about your year.

You will probably find 100 choices. There isn't a "best", only lots of good choices.

2015 Roadtrek RS Adventurous
I got the Kenwood DNX775RVS last year from Crutchfield. They offer harnesses and faceplate kits based on your rig and it fit my 2015 Roadtrek Adventurous RS fine. The unit has Garmin maps and is Sirius "ready." I also got the SXV300V1 Tuner from them.

Everything worked (backup camera, speaker hook ups, GPS, etc) except the MB microphone. For that we had to install the separate mic which comes with the Kenwood.

I specifically wanted a unit with built in NAV and didn't want Apple/Android Car apps. And I wanted a unit that was compatible with Sirius. Also, I wanted a non-Chinese company. I would have preferred a larger display as this one is only marginally bigger that the MB stock unit. However, the only way to go bigger, and meet my other wants, would be to get a "floating" display which extends out through the dash.

This unit is pricey but it game me everything I wanted except the larger display.

Harnesses & faceplates are most of the concern…
I have a quality tech who will handle the install, but want compatibility to MB & Coachmen…
Again thx!

Today, I would go with something that does have Apple Carplay / Android Auto. They will be able to have the latest applications, including navigation. OEM systems generally cost money for map updates and quickly become outdated.

My year only has a single DIN space for the radio, not enough space for a display unless you get a rare flip up screen. Good ones, not cheap junk ones, are expensive. I have an Android tablet and a phone mounted on the dash and use them for many things. I have a WiFi hotspot in the van to support all the devices.

You have a bigger spot for the radio, so you have way more choices. Crutchfield also has adapters so it integrates with stuff like steering wheel control buttons for seemless replacement of the OEM system.

Jmark, Can you elaborate on what system you went with?. I also have the fusion rv-in801 thats been nothing but problems and need to change it out. Like you I am concerned with the wiring to this 2018 chassis. Too many choices.
