Manchester 6813 propane tank or alternative

Does anyone have a line on a Manchester propane tank model 6813 or 6814? They've been listed as back ordered or discontinued for months. I haven't had any luck finding an alternative. Looking for 5-8 gallon capacity that will fit under the passenger side floor boards. Thanks.

I had lengthy conversation with a Manchester tank customer service rep a few months ago about product availability. A big lack of materials and a substantial labor shortage contributed to a projected availability of the particular tank I asked about, at 50 weeks.

This thread discussed options:

The Manchesters are good choices if you can get them. They definitely fit. The tank from the UK discussed in the linked thread may be an issue due to certification marking. Some places may refuse to fill it.

I've had zero luck finding a Manchester. I guess I'll have to find a Gas-It and deal with the fittings. Amazing there are so few options.

They are very common in Class B RVs. Maybe look for used in a junkyard? ASME tanks don't have expiration dates. If they are not very rusty or torn up, used ones can be tested for leaks and continue to be used for years.

Try these guys, use their ASME Engine Fuel Tanks
But an Engine gas/fuel tank is no good for an RV's domestic appliances!

The Engine tank delivers liquified gas to the engine whereas an RV tank delivers gas. BIG difference.

Not sure if you've resolved your search and it may not fit your plan but I have a Manchester 6811, 8" Dia X 42" Long, available. I bought it ~6 years ago and never used it; ended up going with a smaller unit.

Ha! And now they are sold out.....
Also known as the Slickdeals effect. Post something online and it sells out in minutes. Make sure to buy, then post.

Did you happen to catch who was the seller? Amazon or a third party? At the moment, I see four sellers on Amazon that claim to have stock.

Ours came from NTP Distributing:

Cheaper than Amazon, but out of stock.

This place claims stock and is even cheaper:

I don't know anything about them.

It kind of seems a container load just got delivered to various distributors.

I bought it on amazon before posting here and autoplicity was the seller. Their pricing seems all over the place. I ordered on Friday night, and Sat morning it was a different price. The link you shared from their own website seems cheaper than both prices I've seen on amazon. I asked but they don't do price matching, which kinda sucks. I'm still happy I got one though. If anyone still needs one they should grab from the link marklg shared above.
